Occupational Therapy Assistant, CER Home Health

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of Occupational Therapist assists in the treatment of patients using therapeutic activities, psychosocial interventions, functional skill training, developmental facilitation and manual restorative techniques. Utilizes orthotic and adaptive equipment and positioning devices. Participates in departmental activities to assure smooth operations and facilitate program enhancement.

Position Qualifications:
Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant school.  Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Successful completion of Board Examination of COTA or eligible for exam and scheduled for next sitting.

Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of previous clinical experience regardless of setting. 
Candidate must be willing to travel between 5-6 towns within agency's service area.  Must have strong background in ortho, neuro, and geriatrics.  Must have strong communication and documentation skills.
Must work well autonomously as well as with a team.
