Reviews Physician's prescription and patient's condition & medical records to determine physical therapy treatment. Test and measure patient's strength, motor development, sensory perceptions etc. and record findings. Plans and prepares written treatment program based on evaluation of patient data. Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function. Instructs, motivates and assists patient. Administer treatments, massage and traction to relieve pain. Records treatment, response and progress. Instructs patient and family for in-home treatment and care. Evaluates, fits and adjusts prosthetic and othotic devices.
