Position Description Staff Physical Therapist - MichiganTHE HOSPITALWe are a Critical Access hospital that is part of a dynamic Health Care System.  Though we are a small hospital, we offer excellent care and are proud of our team and the fine facility we have to offer the region that we serve.  Our Campus is dedicated to providing high quality health care services for the residents of three counties.  Our healthcare system makes health care more convenient and accessible by providing local physicians, better technology and improved services.

 

We have two Rehabilitation Outpatient clinics, one site newly renovated! We also provide rehabilitation services to inpatients at the hospital and a skilled nursing facility. THE CITYThe city is within an hours drive from Grand Rapids, Traverse City and Midland. Two Rails-To-Trails intersect in the City making it the center of the premier trails system in the state.  Our City is a crossroads community because it was originally at the intersection of two railroad systems that bisected the state. It is now at the crossroads of two major US Highways that bisect the state. This provides easy access to other parts of the state.

 THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE will provide:
Proven ability as a physical therapist.
Cooperative relationships with Physical Therapy staff, Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologist at two outpatient clinics, inpatient setting and skilled nursing facility.
Outgoing, friendly personality toward colleagues, clients and communities where facilities are located

 

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates MUST have the following qualifications to be considered for this position:
Bachelor?s Degree
Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan or eligible.
New grads accepted

The following qualifications are PREFERRED:
Masters degree in physical therapy or related field
2+ years experience
National certification.

 SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITS
