Respiratory Therapist 12Hr

Summary of Essential Job Duties:
We currently are looking for enthused therapist to join our exciting staff!  Days/Nights openings. Performs all Respiratory Therapy duties including critical care.  We offer tutition reimbursement and relocation assistance. New grads are welcomed!

 

Educational Requirements:
Graduate of 2 year AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy

 

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
California RCP license
Current BCLS

 

Experience:
Respiratory Ward Therapy and Critical Care
 
Physical Demands:
Must be able to perform 1 & 2 man CPR
Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs
Must be able to move an H-size gas cylinder-and-cart over Hospital floor surfaced as well as departmental life support systems over hospital floors.
Must be able to physically roll a 200 lb. horizontally positioned patient.
Must posses auditory and visual capabilities for responding to cardio-pulmonary monitoring system alarms (e.g. apnea, pulse oximeter, cardiac, and vital sign monitors and alarms).
Must possess mathematical skills necessary to the clinical functions of the job.
Oral and written communication skills sufficient for understanding and being understood by members of the Health Care Team.
