About the Opportunity Help Kindred Hospital Chicago Lakeshore be a leader in the Health Services industry by acting as the Respiratory Therapy Services Director who provides respiratory therapy services; directs staff; develops organizational, operational, and financial strategies; trains house staff, nursing personnel, and student; completes clinical research on respiratory modalities in critical and non-critical care areas; completes internal/external projects; maintains legal and accreditation compliance. Qualifications


Uses multiple resources, quantitative, and qualitative research methodologies to capture and interpret information.


Maintains a safe work environment.


Skilled at describing mathematical relationships among operating and financial activities that can affect actions toward financial objectives.



Good diagnostic and clinical skills. Understanding of how patient's signs and symptoms relate to a disease process.


Familiarity with issues of compliance for state and federal regulations.


Capable of managing people and work. Skills include planning, developing policies, and delegation.


Project management experience, including planning, resource allocation, staffing, budget, and performance.


Basic understanding of physiological functions and processes as they relate to issues of patient care.


Basic experience in pulmonary function testing and use of mechanical ventilation.


Takes feedback constructively and makes effort to improve skills.


BS or equivalent experience.
