Air Transportation Manager - Groups

We are seeking a Air Transportation Manager  - Groups Job Summary:

 

This position will aid in the preparation and delivery of group travel arrangements and the administration of contract provisions.  The position will effectively monitor all contractual terms and liaison with guests arranging transportation for their incentive or meeting. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Familiar with standard contract terms and concepts for Group Travel.

Working knowledge of GDS airline system group interfaces i.e. GlobalWare and Galileo

Monitors preferred supplier performance to ensure key contractual terms and condition are met for clients and suppliers.

Liaisons with other internal departments to ensure proper customer service

 Education, Knowledge and Skills:

Minimum 2 years degree in a related field

Minimum of 3 years Travel Experience.

Must have strong working functional knowledge of business software applications (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.).

Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.

Able to multi-task.

Strong customer service skills

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Goal oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-discipline

Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions.

Ability to comprehend functions and procedures and to be able to disseminate that knowledge in a clear and understandable format to others.

Ability to express oneself, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports.

Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts and develop solutions.

 

A solid working knowledge of Word, ACCESS, Excel at the Intermediate / Expert Level is required for specialized assignments. You must be committed to delivering excellent customer service, with ?above and beyond attitude? in order to join the team. Experience working with International destinations is a plus.
