Assistant Branch Manger - Seattle

SUMMARY
Supervision of delivery and warehouse staff. Responsible for OCH and Oakwood customer service and coordinating service for properties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

? Schedule the delivery and pick-up of Home Services inventory.
? Maintain warehouse facilities.
? Ensures delivery vehicles are properly maintained.
? Ensures proper handling of inventory. Controls shrinkage and damages.
? Maintains adequate stock of inventory and supplies.
? Train and develop staff for maximum productivity.
? Ensure all warehouse equipment is in good operating condition.
? Maintain standards of quality established by the company and performs warehouse and field
inspections.
? Supervise driver and warehouse staff.
? Supervise housekeeping staff in absence of Branch Manager.
? Assist Branch Manager in additional management duties including annual budget preparation.
? Work closely with Branch Manager to ensure that the branch's budgetary goals and expenditures
are kept in line with company requirements.
? Ensure a safe working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages 10-40 non-supervisory employees in the Home Services Division. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises 10-40 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include:

?Interviewing, hiring, & training employees;
?Planning, assigning, & directing work;
?Appraising performance;
?Rewarding & disciplining employees;
?Addressing complaints & resolving problems.
REQUIREMENTS

?1 yr cert from a college or tech school, or 1-3 yrs related exper and/or trng; or equivalent combo
of education & experience
?Computer literate, with high skill set in MS Excel and Word
?Forklift experience
?Supervisory experience
?Effective oral & written communication skills
?Math Skills - basic algebra and geometry.
?Must have valid D/L & proof of liability insurance.
