Assistant Front Office Manager

The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for the oversight of all Front Desk operations. Responsible for Front Desk, Concierge and Guest Service departments in the absence of individual managers. Assists in weekly standards training of Front Desk clerks, concierge, Bellman, and VIP Coorinators. Upkeep of GSI scores. Insures the maintenance of Front Desk equipment (computer terminals, printers, phones) Insures compliance to hotel policies by staff members through the consistent application of coaching and counseling and discipline. Dissemination of information to Front Desk staff concering upcoming groups and events using the following mechanisms; memos, daily shift meetings, the log book and bulletin board. Ordering of departmental supplies. Thorough understanding of scheduling and maintenance of departmental productivity. Previous experience working in a Union environment. Previous supervisory skills, demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills. Desired skills; Fidelio, Excel, Word. Excellent customer service skills, excellent written and verbal skills (English). Bilingual a plus.
