Essential Functions:

To organized and supervise the set-up, breakdown and service of all function rooms in accordance with the Tempe Mission Palms high standards of quality.

Communicate with management, line staff and other departments on a per shift basis, to ensure daily objectives are met.

Plan the physical layout of all function rooms.

Establish, implement and follow through on all Pointe South Mountain policies.

Interact with clients to ensure all needs and goals are met to produce a successful convention and food function.

Ensure equipment is maintained and cared for the Tempe Mission Palms standards.

Ensure all parcels are delivered to all meeting rooms.

Other:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Tempe from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Professionals with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, professionals may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Upon employment, all professionals are required to fully comply with operation of the hotel facilities. professionals who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

Support property outlets with equipment on an as needed basis.

Assist food team members with servicing food functions where needed.

Implement established training programs to all new set-up team members.

Qualification Standards:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Must possess working knowledge of ballroom operations. Six months experience required.

Grooming: All professionals must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available)
