Commissary District Manager - Central Region

ARAMARK Correctional Services is currently seeking a District Manager for the Central Region.






As a Commissary District Manager with Correctional Services you will provide overall planning, direction and control to assigned commissary operations within a defined region in order to achieve both operational and financial goals. This includes: commissary P&L management, client relationship, base business and new business growth, staff recruitment and development, budgeting, customer service. The Commissary District Manager creates and implements various retail programs and initiatives to generate and increase sales. The Commissary District Manager establishes and maintains an effective client rapport and mutually beneficial business relationships with clients. Driving the sales process to sell commissary add-ons to current food clients in conjunctions with the Food District Manager and helping to drive optimal performance on all new sales start-ups. District Managers are responsible for demonstrating the ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints including the coordination of multiple responsibilities within a matrix organization. Introduce new technology and make recommendations for improvements on current systems. Implement Operational Excellence Commissary Program. Commissary District Managers report directly to the Regional Vice President and indirectly to Vice President of Commissary.





 

The compensation package for this position is inclusive of a base salary, annual incentive bonus, and company vehicle.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, a proven track record of growing accounts, and highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. The ability to manage in a diverse environment while focusing on client and customer services as well as entrepreneurship is essential to success in this role. 8-10 years of industry experience, with 5-7 years experience in multi-unit management (10-25 sites, $10-20 million) in the retail/distribution industry is preferred.

This position will be based out of our Downers Grove, IL Office with travel between 30-60%.
