JOB DUTIES

This individual will manage the Client Solutions function for the West Coast and will report to the SVP Client Solutions Group.  We are looking for an accomplished senior level professional, who is self-confident, persuasive and possessed of outstanding client facing skills.  Will manage a team of account professionals and a small portfolio of accounts.   You will ensure account strategies are in place while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Oversee the negotiations of  travel-related contracts, including air, hotel, auto, etc.

Further, the Director will maintain and develop key client relationships, oversee the implementation of new travel tools and introduce new products and services to the client base. Will review and target areas for cost savings and service enhancements, taking full ownership of the portfolio of accounts.  You will work closely with Ovation colleagues, such as Operations,  IT, accounting, sales, marketing, etc. Will create high level client ready presentations, proposals and reports and analyses as ell as participate in the Sales process.

REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a mid to large sized corporate travel management company and prior experience in related travel functions, beyond the current position.  
Experience in managing high-performing teams
Excellent computer skills:  PowerPoint, Word and Excel.  
Detailed knowledge of travel tools, industry trends.
Strong relationship building skills.  
Highly professional presentation, polished
Experienced in client retention
Must be self-sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision
Strong written, spoken and presentation skills.  Must be persuasive.
