We are currently seeking an experienced food service/hospitality industry professional to assume the position of Director of Dining Services for our client partner in the Buffalo, NY area.  As Director of Dining Services, you will plan, direct and control dining outlets and catering services at this Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) to achieve operational and financial goals, meet client objectives and ensure resident satisfaction.  The Director also provides leadership and ensures the development and growth of subordinate managers and employees.




The Director of Dining Services position requires a minimum of 5 years of food services management experience (including P&L accountability) in a healthcare, long-term care/senior living or hospitality setting.  Candidates must have a solid working knowledge of food & beverage operations and development of exempt and non-exempt employees.  A Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or other business discipline is strongly preferred.  The ideal candidates will possess the ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong customer service focus, outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with residents, employees, clients and other stakeholders.
