Be a part of the nation's premier environmental services company. We are currently searching for Driver Trainers in our Houston location.
In this leadership role, you will train employees to pass the Texas written exam and skills test for commercial driver’s license and also perform commercial driver’s license tests on employees as established by the Texas Department of Safety and Motor Vehicle regulations. You will also assure that all drivers and loaders have the required safety training to compliment their current work assignment, conduct new employee orientation and refresher safety training on OSHA/DOT requirements, and monitor and enforce company policies, procedures, and safe work practices. In addition, you will conduct classroom and field training for drivers moving across different lines of business
Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, 5 years of driving experience or safety training in the transportation field (waste industry preferred), and a valid CDL Class B license. You must be over the age of 21 and have been a licensed CDL driver for more than 12 months. The ability to achieve, or already possess, a Third Party Commercial Driver’s License Tester Certification through the Texas Department of Highway Safety Motor Vehicles. Must be proficient in MS PowerPoint and in MS Word.
