FULL–TIME and PART-TIME CULINARY FACULTY POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The Art Institute of California-San Diego has significant opportunities for part-time and full-time faculty who have a genuine concern for the growth and success of students. Our schools offer Bachelor and Associate degree programs in the design, media arts and technology and culinary fields. Professional faculty, industry-focused curriculum and industry related facilities and equipment keep our schools at the forefront of art and technology.

 

We are seeking positive minded industry oriented professionals to teach day and/or evening classes.  The courses are as follows:

 

** Culinary Skills

** Baking and Pastry

** Management SkillsPosition Requirements:

 

-  Bachelor?s Degree Required (in any domain?Culinary preferred)

-  Professional Accreditation Preferred (ACF, IACP, etc?)

-  Must have held progressively responsible positions with experience within culinary production environments

-  Must have utilized management level applications

-  Staff training experience and financial accountability a must

-  Previous teaching experience a plus, but not necessary

 

Candidates should possess previous work experience in the Hospitality / Food Service Industry with experience in all facets of Culinary Art, Dining Room Operations, and Management. Previous training and/or teaching experience is a plus. Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
