Floor Coordinator

SUMMARY: 

The purpose and main focus of the Floor Coordinator is to maintain a cohesive relationship between the client and the Account Executives of the hotel. You must maintain a good working knowledge of all AV equipment and it?s function, as well as possess excellent customer service skills. It is your responsibility to ensure that the client to is pleased with the event set-up and that of all AV equipment is operation.  It is your responsibility to inspect all rooms 1 hour prior to the start of the event.  You will supervise labor and make sure all tasks are completed to the client?s satisfaction. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?Meet with Production Coordinator and get daily flow sheets

?Check daily sheets against hotel BEO?s / MEO?s

?Get daily tasks from Director and Asst. Director

?Assist AE?s with obtaining signature on contracts.

?Coordinate all aspects of smaller AV shows.

?Check in on technicians to ensure work is being completed on time

?Walk rooms 1 hour prior to the event start to ensure that load ins are complete and correct.

?Meet with clients prior to the start of their event to ensure customer satisfaction and assist with changes or issues.

?Make labor calls when approved by management

?Inform Production Coordinator of any billing changes

?Relay information and updates regarding contracts, labor status and client issues back to AE?s.

?Sign in labor and help crews get started by providing information (drawings, delivery, and pull sheets) and provide supervised access to lock ups.

?Confirm that all work required of crews is completed.

?Sign out labor at the end of shifts.

?Walk rooms on flow sheet to confirm that load outs are complete.

?Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education and Experience: 

One to three years of audiovisual experience or a combination of education, training and experience.
