Front Desk Reception

 

The Sports Club/LA - San Francisco, the world's premier name in sports and fitness, is seeking customer service oriented people to provide five star professional service to our members.

 

Overview: 

Warmly greets Members and guests, verify membership status, professionally handles calls, and consistently provides the highest level of personalized member service with a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Warmly greets Members and guests as they approach the reception area.

*Professionally verify membership cards.

*Verify account status.

*Resolve problems or refer to appropriate department.

*Answer phone calls in a friendly, helpful and timely manner.

*Schedule appointments and follow established procedures for collecting money and preparing receipts.

*Monitor lost and found items when applicable.

*Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

*Maintain reception area in a clean and orderly fashion.

*Assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed.

*Attend all meetings and training sessions as required.

 

Member Service:

*Respond to members' concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

*Consistenly offer the highest level of personalized customer service.

*Demonstrate understanding of Club policies, procedures and service standards.

 

Job Requirements:

*High School graduate or equivalent.

*Experience in a similar environment preferred.

*Strong math skills.

*Cooperative and friendly attitude.

*Flexible schedule.

*Ability to work well in groups as well as alone.

 

Physical Activities and Environment:

*Requires a wide range of constant physical activities, including but not limited to:  sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

*Frequent repetitive movements.

*Frequent walking and standing on hard surfaces or carpeting.

*Continuous exposure to moderate noise.
