Guest Service Positions

Located in the heart of downtown Stamford, The Stamford Marriott offers a dynamic and customer-focused work environment.  We seek organized and detail-oriented individuals to join our Guest Service orientated team of professionals.

Front Desk

Qualifications Include:Must be a high school graduate, college courses preferred Must have previous customer service experienceExcellent computer knowledge and cash handling experience Exceptional oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skill Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with customers and associates

Responsibilities Include: 
Check the guest in and out of the hotel Inform guest of services and amenities Find out information regarding guest satisfaction  Resolve customer service issues

Exhibit courteous hospitality by showing a positive attitude, a friendly smile and a willingness to serve guest.

At Your Service Agent
To serve as the main contact point for all guest requests and needs. Take Room Service orders and record guest requests. Answer questions related to hotel services, facilities, local information and ensure proper, timely and reliable services that meets Marriott?s standard of quality. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Previous experience handling multiple phone lines/switchboard and be able to type at least 55 WPM

Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.

Bell Stand
Friendly individual with professional presentation and excellent oral communication skills.  Must have physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.  Must be responsible and reliable

General knowledge of the Stamford area is helpful plus a clean driving record.
