Housekeeping Shift Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, the incumbent assists in oversight and administration of all housekeeping and textile operations while providing first class guest service.  All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation?s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

1.  Prepare detailed financial reports and ensures adherence to established budgets.

2.  Assist in preparing and investigates/resolves discrepancies in operating budgets.

3.  Perform daily inspection of rooms ensuring maximum efficiency, proper policies and service standards.

4.  Investigates and resolves employee and/or guest situations.

5.  Maintain and implement departmental procedures.  Ensure strict adherence to all company and departmental policies and procedures. Adhere to Purchasing, HR, and TERO compliance requirements.

6.  Train, schedule, appraise and supervise all directly assigned personnel.

7.  Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
