Legal Assistant

ASTA is seeking a Legal Assistant to provide administrative support to the General Counsel. Strong communication and project management skills are required, together with meticulous attention to detail.Assistant is responsible for contract administration, support services, responding to inquiries, drafting correspondence and handling administrative duties.  Assistant is also responsible for the maintenance of the company?s legal files and confidential corporate records, and annual registrations and reports.  Position requires an academic background, paralegal training, or practical experience in the legal field, or equivalent experience, and complete knowledge of modern business office practices including all MS Office applications.
