Manager, Housekeeping/Custodial Services

 

The Culinary Institute of America, is seeking an individual to be responsible for maintaining the appearance level commensurate with the status of the world?s premier culinary college.  The Manager, Housekeeping/Custodial Services will be responsible for overseeing staff and contractors performing housekeeping functions, quality assurance, as well as the hiring, supervision and training of staff.  This individual will implement detailed methods, procedures and performance criteria for staff in order to maintain a consistent high level of housekeeping/custodial services for the entire Institute.  Facilities include:  five public restaurants, over 40 kitchens, bakeshops, library, administrative offices, student recreation center, dorms and townhouses. Associate?s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10-15 years in hospitality/facility service experience as well as previous experience developing/managing resort or campus housekeeping operations.
