General Purpose of Job:

 

To maximize the number of qualified tours booked, while creating a sense of urgency for the potential guest to attend HGVC?s timeshare sales presentations.  Be able to generate a sense of excitement in those booked guests.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

? Provide information and incentives for guests in an effort to book a preview of HGVC.

? Pro-actively pursues guests that have not scheduled a tour or purchased a mini vacation to either book a tour or sell a mini vacation package.

? Uses collateral material to market each program effectively.

?  Ensures guests that tour meet minimum marketing qualifications as provided.

?  Collects tour deposits and completes required paperwork accurately and completely for each tour.

?  Arranges for the transportation of guests to tour the Preview Center.

?  Carries out all reasonable requests by management of which the team member is capable of performing.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

? Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills.

? Bilingual ability to speak in Japanese/English is required for the part-time position, preferred for the full-time position.

? Minimum of 2 years marketing experience preferred with the ability to "sell" guests on the idea of taking a preview tour.

? Thorough understanding of the local area.

? Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance priorities.

? Timeshare experience preferred.

? Must be able to work all days and shifts as assigned, including weekends and holidays.
