Membership Sales Director

ClubCorp, the world?s largest and most prestigious owner/management company of private country clubs, sports clubs and business clubs is seeking a results-oriented, highly motivated individual for Membership Sales. Preferred candidates should be articulate, have excellent interpersonal skills and be highly organized. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Responsible for enrolling new Members into the Club at the minimum performance rate of achieving the Club's Membership Sales Plan for both Dues added and ID's. Primary goal is to develop, organize and implement marketing and sales promotions that will create, optimally maximize and/or increase all of the following as directed by the Club Manager and under the guidelines of the Membership Council Policies Manual.

Primary Objectives:
1.Dues Added
2.Initiation and Transfer Deposits
3.Dues Income

Secondary Objectives:
1.Net Members
2.Net Dues Added
3.Change of Designee, prepaid dues and other fees
4.Positive Membership expense variances versus the Club's Financial Plan.






ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Organize and direct major Club events (Holiday Party, Winter Carnival, etc.). Responsible for promotions, action plans, budget, staffing, bookings, billing.

2. Develop Corporate Sponsorship Program. Actively recruit corporate sponsors for Club tournaments and charity events through organized promotions and marketing efforts.

3. Develop Community Relations Committee. Organize Club's giving efforts and donations. Manage Club's community involvement efforts (charity events, service projects). Develop Reputation Management Program (create press releases, solicit media coverage of major events).

4. Develop Clubs within a Club for the members. Wine club, Executives club, Womens Networking, etc.

5. Develop Networking Committee. Develop Committee into integral part of Club life through networking events. Solicit Member participation on Committee. Create year long featured speaker series (inviting business & community leaders). Establish Committee's yearly budget for revenue generating events.

1. Because of the fluctuating demands of the company's operation, it may be necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employee Partners are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
