SALES - Educational Travel Specialist

We are seeking a motivated, goal-driven, sales representative with 5 plus years of proven success in sales.  The Educational Travel Specialist generates new accounts in the student educational travel industry via telephone (95-98%) within the Southern California area on behalf of WorldStrides; implements the company's superior selling system to further ensure that WorldStrides' high quality programs are the only choice in educational travel for teachers, administrators, students and parents; and  works within the WorldStrides' proven system, while adhering to our guiding principals of excellence, customer care, integrity and corporate stability.  Base plus commission and bonuses. 

 

Requirements:  Minimum of 2 years proven success in a non-retail sales (preferable 5+ years).  K-12 teaching or educational sales experience a big plus.  Excellent telephone and in-person communication skills; strong organizational skills and ability to manage processes; excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills; and basic computer skills.  Proven ability to work independently, with high intensity, as well as to function within a team, and to remain focused and motivated in order to persistently pursue new business.  Must be coach-able and goal-oriented.  High school degree or equivalent;  college degree preferred.  Base plus commission - earning potential in high 60K's to low 70K at 100% plan, no cap.
