This position is responsible for generating sleeping room and meeting space revenue. Ensures achievement of high level of guest satisfaction. Uses leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profit and ensure quality.
Responsibilities
Revenue
1. Sales: Responsible for soliciting local businesses and charitable groups to capitalize on revenue opportunities. Coordinates with various departments, the activities related to book business, negotiate rate and service plan to meet budgeted revenue goals.
2. Marketing: Assists in developing and implementing special promotions for assigned market segment.
3. Community Representation: Remains active in the business community/market segment community to ensure on-going networking opportunities.Profit
4. Cost Control: Adheres to department budget to maximize company/hotel profitability. Applies good business judgment.Quality
5. Account Management/Administration: Ensures client satisfaction and efficient internal administration of procedures.Leadership
6. Self/Workload Management: Responsible for effective self/workload management. Demonstrates clear communication. Promotes collaboration and positive, professional work environment. Adheres to CSM Standard Operating Procedures.
