Sales Manager - Staybridge Suites Cincinnati, OH

Staybridge Suites Cincinnati North, an award winning, upscale extended stay hotel in West Chester, Ohio, is seeking an aggressive, motivated, self starter who can go out, find business and then close it for our hotel.

This position will primarily handle all group business in the SMERF (Sports, Military, Educational, Reunion, Fraternal/Family) market and will also include a selected amount of corporate sales in a specified territory. This sales professional will also be responsible for open houses, client functions, such as wedding events, sports team management, and family reunions. This position will be part of our management team and will work directly with our DOS. This manager will need to actively go out and secure business using a variety of methods including cold calling, internet prospecting, and networking.

This position will pay a base salary plus bonus program in addition to a generous benefits package.

Minimum job requirements include:

- Some college plus 1-2 years sales and/or marketing related experience.
- Prior hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss concepts.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to travel to attend workshops, trade shows, etc.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Some weekend hours, nights, and holiday may be required as
business determines.
- Participation in hotel's "Manager-on-duty" program.
