Your responsibilities will be to manage and oversee corporate meetings and special events ensuring revenue, profitability and exceptional customer service are met.  You will be working in an energetic, fast-paced team environment where excellence is the norm.

 

Responsibilities include the following:Manage assigned projects from point of sale through program operationPartner with Sales to establish and maintain successful customer relationshipsDevelop event timeline and distribute to all participantsCoordinate and conduct inspection tripsResearch supplier availability and manage negotiations to decrease costs throughout program operation Manage the meeting and event requirements: hotel room lists, food and beverage, ground transportation, production (staging, sound, lights, A.V.), d?cor, entertainment, etc.Client/participant and supplier liaisonManage deposits and supplier payments, client billing and auditsWork with vendors on pre-program design for signage, on-site printed materials, name badges and all necessary communication materialsPrepare for and conduct on-site staff briefings, debriefings, and client meetingsOversee on-site operations Manage attendance and all data entryPrepare weekly and monthly financial forecasting of assigned programs Recommend new and innovative ways to improve products and servicesAssist with streamlining of processes and efficienciesDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with employees, contractors, external vendors and industry partnersParticipate in industry affiliations and attend industry meetings

 

Prior Experience We Seek:College degree requiredMinimum of five years in corporate event and meeting management businessTrack record of successful planning and execution of complex programsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience working in a deadline-driven environment where multitasking is commonplace.Proficient in Microsoft Office
