Royal Cup Coffee, a leading coffee roaster and nationwide provider of gourmet coffees, teas and foodservice products, has an immediate opening in our Management Training Program.  This is an entry level position in the FoodService Division.

 

Company Profile:  Royal Cup Coffee is a 108 year old, privately held company. National customers include The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, Comfort Inn & Suites, Outback Steakhouse, IHOP and many others.  We are seeking a Territory Manager / Management Development Candidate for the Tucson and surrounding areas.

 

Management Development Program:  This is an entry level position in the FoodService & Hospitality Division Sales Organization.  Our training program is a minimum 9-18 months in Route Delivery as a Territory Manager.  Training includes company orientation, operations, customer service, product knowledge, equipment applications and route delivery sales. 

 

Once minimum training is successfully completed, assignment as a Branch Manager or Account Executive will follow.  The Territory Manager position reports to the Branch Manager with a mentor relationship with the District or Regional Manager. 

 

Position Summary:  As a route delivery specialist, the successful candidate will master all aspects of route operations, achieve goals set by the manager for promotions, allied penetration, allied margins and tea sales. The TM must follow up to initiate price changes and maintain accurate pricing for the customer, and must provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner. 

 

After a minimum of 9-18 months, reassignment to a Branch Manager or Account Executive position will immerse the candidate into generating new accounts through cold calling, referrals and networking.  Executive product knowledge, management leadership, and executive sales training will follow.  Customer retention through strategic customer business plans will be a key measure of performance. 

 

Candidate Criteria:  Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Psychology or Liberal Arts is preferred. Very strong work ethic. Outgoing personality. Success driven. In good physical condition for demanding work.  Ability to work independently. Athletic team, sports background a plus.  Must be willing to relocate after initial training. 

 

Benefits:  Royal Cup offers compensation includes salary, plus commissions.  Commissions are based upon sales and profits values from customers in the territory.  Full benefits including 401(k), healthcare, life insurance and vacation are provided for the Royal Cup associate.
