SUMMARY

Plans travel and arranges accommodations and other travel services for 24-hour Travel

Department by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may

be assigned.

? Makes travel and other arrangements for GAC employees including land transportation

and hotel accommodations for domestic and international travel.

? Consults published and online sources to analyze and evaluate times, routings, fares, car

rentals, accommodation ratings, and discount programs.

? Prepares tentative plans and suitable alternatives, answers employee questions regarding

travel arrangements.

? Uses computerized reservation and ticketing systems to book transportation and hotel

reservations, and issue itineraries.

? Requests airline tickets or ticket-less itineraries with computer system or system link to

travel carrier.

? Confirms all reservations prior to travel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2-4 years related airline experience

and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sabre CRS experience

preferred.
