front desk supervisor

Position:


Front desk supervisor at West Palm Beach-area hotel, responsible for all aspects of operating the front desk and guest services, including hiring, training and overseeing front desk operations and night audit staff.

 

Candidates must:

 

1.  Be able to perform all duties in the Front Desk, including assisting and supervising the day-to-day responsibilities of the front desk personnel and night auditors.

2.  Create a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere for guests, running the reception efficiently and in accordance with hotel policy.

3.  Train the front desk staff and ensure they are knowledgeable of all front desk operating procedures.

4.  With the direction of the General Manager, handle all guest problems and/or complaints.


Other Job Requirements:


Must have at least 3 years of experience within hotel front desk or related departments within a hotel.  Extensive knowledge of computerized hotel systems is an asset. The ability to motivate front office personnel is critical. Must be professional at all times and have strong communication and leadership skills.  Must be able to handle multiple tasks at peak times.
