1st Vice President, Rotation Program
The function of the Career Management and Employee Development department is to increase employee retention and provide opportunities for employee development. The department provides training programs designed to grow employee skills, knowledge, and attributes that drive consumer satisfaction and build bench strength for strategic job functions; resources for internal career development; easy access to internal career information; and internal and external placement services for employees subject to layoffs.
The 1st Vice President, Rotation Program is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Rotation Program for Managers and is directly responsible to the program's Advisory Council and to the Sr. Vice President of Career Management and Employee Development. In addition, this individual is responsible for supervising the program participants as their solid line manager for the duration of their involvement in the 18-month program.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develops and manages to the Project Plan, including the budget and calculating and delivering ROI.
- Manages the rotations, overseeing the educational components and learning projects.
- Manages the performance, and guides the acquisition, development and placement of participants.
- Tracks participants post-program.
- Manages the administration duties such as on boarding, coordination of travel, approval of expense reports, and resolution of issues.
- Performs other duties as required.
A successful candidate will have:
- BA/BS degree in a related field with an emphasis on Business Administration, Organization Development, Human Resources, Management, or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years managing others, with emphasis in coaching and training.
- Experience in training program design and development.
- Experience in positions that required self-motivation, discreteness, resourcefulness and detail-orientation.
- Demonstrated professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to interface with senior management.
Thorough knowledge of state and federal labor laws and guidelines including EEO.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and training methods.
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage projects.
- Strong PC skills.
- Flexible and independent with high energy, self-motivation, enthusiasm and a service-oriented spirit.
An ideal candidate may also possess:
- Knowledge of the mortgage banking industry or finance.
- Knowledge of Countrywide and it's various divisional structures.


Prefer that the candidate has prior experience with Rotation Programs. Financial background experience a plus.
