ASSOC MANAGER, TALENT MGMT

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and influence skills in dealing with all
levels of management, develops relationships within the organization, and
leverages the formal and informal organizational structure to assist in goal
achievement.Effectively manages small to medium projects, low to medium
complexity, or segments of large projects within business functions, with
minimal supervision, good initiative and focus on details, while understanding
the broader context. Effectively manages the 360 Feedback, Exit Survey, and
Position Profile processes. Effectively provides HR Generalists with education
and consultation pertaining to existing Talent Management systems, metrics, and
surveys. Maintains a good working relationship with outside vendors to resolve
technical and process issues. Effectively manages and partners with outside
vendors to ensure the effective operation of contracted service. Demonstrates
strong analytical abilities to quality control, organize and interpret data
from multiple sources to identify common trends and implications relevant to
Talent Management. Conducts analyses and develops accurate and timely Talent
Management metrics reports. Partners with members of Talent Management team to
manage and maintain functional competency models and talent systems across the
organization. Plans enhancement and maintenance activities to ensure alignment
with the business strategy. Completes periodic revalidation of functional
competency models. Designs, develops, and updates assessment tools and
processes to support fair, consistent and accurate selection and promotion
decisions. Maintains appropriate system documentation. Designs and conducts
analyses to evaluate use of tools and processes, to identify inappropriate
patterns of use, and to identify capability gaps.

Job Requirements/Education:

MA or MS required in Industrial Organizational Psychology or a related field
such as Organizational Behavior. Ph.D. preferred. 2 to 4 years of experience
working in the IO field. Experience working on projects across organizational
lines. Demonstrated success in working in a team environment, on multiple
priorities with changing priorities. Demonstrated success in working with
limited supervision and delivering results in a timely and efficient manner.
Experience delivering presentations and facilitating meetings concerning
complex content. Experience designing research and conducting analyses to
assess the effectiveness of individual and organizational interventions.
Demonstrated success in working effectively with line management and human
resources to impact and influence decision making. Mastery of the theory and
practice of Industrial Organizational Psychology, including assessment,
selection, promotion, and development systems and interventions. Thorough
understanding of psychological and organizational measurement, statistics and
program evaluation. Demonstrated proficiency in usingspreadsheets, e.g., Excel,
database analysis, e.g., SPSS, and Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
Basic understanding of business, business strategy, and how to link HR
initiatives to business initiatives.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
