 The Benefits Caseworker solves benefit service and systems issues with minimal referral to management.  This position works to streamline these processes in order to take on future clients and related work and handles database schedules to produce needed U.S. inpatriate and Flex Leave reports on a timely basis.  He/She coordinates client requests including benefit comparisons and updates to job aids and templates and conducts compliance work including maintaining key documents, responding to legal document requests and organizing HIPAA inquiries.  This role facilitates benefit communications to large audiences and create/revise benefit information pages on client portals.

 

?Seek advice and escalates issues when faced with tasks/problems outside normal scope of job.

?Interact with client/users around specific work efforts/deliverables.
?Serve as liaison between employees, record keepers, health care providers and human resource representatives to resolve escalated benefits service issues in a timely manner. 
?Identify and research to resolve reporting errors on record keepers/human resources/payroll data feeds utilizing payroll and employee data systems
?Generate process improvement to service resolution role in order to prepare for potential escalated service issues as Accenture H R Services acquires new clients.
?Process US inpatriate data to Access database and generate reports for tracking, health benefit eligibility, enrollment and carrier billing purposes for client inpatriate personnel.
?Execute bimonthly process to capture Leave program personnel data for internet file transfer to record keepers for deductions/compensation feeds to payroll
?Assist in business development efforts
 ­draft comparison benefits of potential clients
 ­participate in continuous improvement efforts by making revisions/ enhancements to job aids/templates
?Prepare retiring/resigning benefits packets
?Coordinate compliance needs
 ­by maintaining Plan documents and contracts
 ­respond to requests for documents to support compliance rules (i.e. Summary Plan Descriptions, Plan documents)
 ­by organizing HIPAA inquiries from internal and external sources
?Manage overall administration of the Inpatriate Insurance Program coordinated with the Relocation Management Solutions Team, Aetna and the Benefits Finance Team.
?Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of complex issues/problems.
?Required to assess and resolve non-standard/standard issues/problems largely on own initiative.



 

Qualifications

?6 months - 4 years benefits experience
?6 months  - 4 years customer service experience
? 1 - 5 years experience with MS applications (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
?HS Diploma or GED required

?1 - 6 years experience with Internet, Internet Explorer and web based systems

 

Nice to Have/A Plus:
?Ability to function effectively as a team member and organize work activities for others on the team
?Knowledge of Accenture benefit Plans and contracts
?Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience require
?Working knowledge of email, Internet, Internet Explorer and web based systems
