Accenture?s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

 

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.


Job Description
Professionals within the BPO Businesses workgroup align with eight distinct business offerings providing standardized, asset-driven and value-added processes. These stand-alone businesses support multiple clients by industrializing individually tailored client solutions into specific business offerings.


Accenture HR Services transforms people management with outsourcing services that dramatically reduce costs and improve capabilities at scale and at speed. Employing proven processes, advanced technology and world-class human resource practices across the entire employee life cycle, Accenture HR Services works closely with clients to tailor the right people solution, from single point solutions to fully integrated HR business process outsourcing for large and medium-sized organizations, that can help them become high-performance businesses and governments.


The Client Account Director is responsible for identifying and securing profitable revenue for the company, and ensures overall client satisfaction with Accenture HR Services by managing existing customer relationships and businesses successfully.  The Account Director will also be responsible for finding new business opportunities in line with company strategy.


Key responsibilities may include:
? Managing account relationships either directly or through Account Managers reporting to them
? Planning and reviewing the account with the Account Managers, and adhering to that plan
? Taking responsibility for the overall service delivery to the client
? Liaising with operations leads to ensure services meet required standards
? Working with internal departments to ensure that new services are developed to agreed requirements and quality
? Managing service issues to resolution
? Understanding the Client?s business strategy and imperatives and selling further business into the Client including writing proposals, managing the pricing activity and seeking sign-off from the New Business Board

 

Qualifications

 

? 8+ years work experience; preferably 5-7 years in an outsourcing and/or business development environment

? Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Graduate degree preferred

? Knowledge of Outsourcing industry and how the company?s contract structure operates
? Understanding the implications of contracts on our business
? Knowledge of policies and procedures of outsourcing clients
? Ability to strategically manage joint business planning in line with organizational strategy
? Detailed understanding of Accenture HR Services and client strategy
? Skilled in questioning techniques
? 5 years+ sales experience and client management experience (e.g. of the sales process / cycle, from finding to closing new business, and qualification)
? 5 years+ in the Client Management arena; experience of relationship building, business management, finance, commercial awareness and understanding of budgets and planning
? Ability to close prospects
? Organizing, facilitating and coordinating internal functions
? Possessing accepted range of sales expertise ? persistency, positive approach and selling attributes
? Ideally possesses understanding of HR processes and the professional sector
? Able to understand interpret complex client challenges and identify potential new service areas including service improvement initiatives
