Accenture HR Services - Information Services Team Lead
The Information Services Team Lead is responsible for defining and delivering client information deliverables and serves as an escalation point to resolve complex issues. The job entails both producing complex reporting deliverables and supervising Information Services Representatives in the production of reporting deliverables. He/she will develop expertise in client-related data and systems. The role may also require application administration tasks such as table and security maintenance and verification of application interface data. He/she identifies key process improvement initiatives and has responsibility for developing team members through coaching, counseling and mentoring activities. The Information Services Team Lead is actively involved in training team members, based on their deep knowledge of tools, data sources and operational procedures & policies. This individual defines standards and reusable approaches within own area of responsibility. The role is required to maintain effective internal/external client/user relationships within own area of responsibility, and provides guidance to and shares knowledge with colleagues/team members relating to own specialization. Works with end customers to define and clarify requirements for new and ad-hoc reports and then utilizes knowledge of data sources and reporting concepts to design and develop complex reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Track customer requests and scheduled deliverables to ensure timely delivery. Provide analytical information to various Business Units for decision support and operational reporting functions. Develop and extract data from several disparate data stores, maintain and report on Key Performance Indicators and fulfillment of goals in relation to Service Level Agreements. Responsible for implementation of data gathering methodologies. Develops new, complex standard and ad-hoc reports to meet customer requirements. Have an understanding of business processes and objectives and information requirements to meet those varied needs. Create technical/functional documentation of information deliverables. Review deliverables of junior team members/peers and provide feedback. Ability to lead projects and manage the development of small applications to meet customer needs as they arise. May be accountable for ongoing maintenance of effective client service relationship in one area of the business, by acting as first point of contact for client representatives. Works with clients directly to define and clarify report requirements. Encourage and implements continuous improvement measures on day-to-day basis within area of responsibility. May be required to formally evaluate team members, and provides appropriate input to HR processes. Leverage extensive knowledge of one functional or business area, in a manner that provides business value to own team/project. Analyze report/data discrepancies to answer detailed customer inquiries regarding report data and troubleshoot report issues independently leveraging knowledge of data sources and reporting tools. May include system administration tasks such as security maintenance, table maintenance, system acceptance testing, release coordination, assisting user groups with mapping processes to application functionality, and end user support task. Participate in transition of new client work into the Information Services team. Includes definition of as-is and to be processes and deliverables and working with client personnel to learn new processes, systems and deliverables
Qualifications
? Four-year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar discipline
? 3+ years business analysis and communication skills (written, interpersonal, presentational)
? 3+ years PC skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite of products (mainly MS Access and MS Excel including macro development/pivots).
? 1 + years in one or more data analysis and delivery tools such as Business Objects, Cognos Impromptu or Brio product suite required
? 1+ years Peoplesoft reporting experience
? 3+ years experience analyzing large volumes of data and/or systems
? 3+ years demonstrated SQL skills, query development and understanding of relational databases
? 1+ years .NET skills is a plus.
? Minimum of 3 years work experience in a fast paced customer service environment.
? 1-2 years experience in Systems Testing, Systems Analysis, and/or Business Analysis.
? 1-2 years of Report development and delivery experience.
? Previous HR experience preferred, preferably in an operations environment.
? Previous customer facing experience.
