Administrative Assistant-Compensation & Benefits
Position SummaryServe as the primary administrative support person for the Director, Compensation & Benefits in Corporate HR Department including telephone, scheduling and travel arrangements Provide general administrative support for the other HR Directors Be the initial ?face of HR? to internal and external clients providing immediate and effective response to basic inquiries, as well as, directing clients or client needs to appropriate HR ProfessionalSupport benefit projects which includes tasks such as: creation of agenda, attend meetings, take and distribute meeting minutesProvide expertise in meeting and pre-presentation arrangements such as laptop set up, catering needs, itinerary management and related administrative supportAssist in organizing employee activities/functionsManage general office functions: Mail distribution, supply management and ordering, general equipment maintenance, general clerical needs for all areas of HRCoordinate functions with other administrative support personnel within the DepartmentProvide collaborative interaction and communication with administrative staff in other departments and locations as neededEstablish, update and maintain files
Candidate QualificationsHigh School graduate or GED is required; BA/BS degree is preferredA minimum of five years relevant business experience; 7 years preferredBusiness savvyGood computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Lotus NotesSystems inquiry experienceKnowledge of HR timekeeping systemsProven track record in providing excellent customer service and diplomacy to internal and external customersDetail-orientedDemonstrated ability to multi-task and be effective in an amorphous environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills Successful track record in working under minimal supervision and as part of a diverse teamPrevious HR experience is a plusKnowledge of KRONOS and ADP is a plus
