POSITION SUMMARY:
Facilitate and deliver new employee training sessions for an assigned group of Ameriquest Operations associates. Evaluate the effectiveness of delivered training sessions by interviewing associates and documenting their retention of information taught. Make recommendations for improvements to training materials based on feedback received and analysis of results. Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver training through classroom instruction to Ameriquest Operations associates based on established curriculum.
Reinforce Company practices and values.
Work with Operations Supervisors to ensure that material delivered in training is relevant and achieving desired results.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly debrief reports to Operations Management staff and Organizational Development to keep them up to date on training and new training needs.
Conduct post-training follow-up to determine if needs and goals of training sessions were met.
Work with an instructional designer to revise training materials based on training session observations and through interviewing associates about its effectiveness.
Demonstrate, facilitate, coach, and mentor associates in training programs to ensure the material is communicated effectively and is understandable.
Work with Corporate Organizational Development department and Ameriquest Operations
Management team to ensure best practices are being used, and notify them of any concerns/recommendations for program improvements.
Evaluate on-the-job performance by talking with associate's supervisors about retention of information taught, and by working alongside associates to determine if the information that was taught was absorbed.
Travel as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.



ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & LICENSES:

Knowledge of mortgage operations techniques and processes, and ability communicate them to processing staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as management skills (organizational and project management) and creative communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
BA Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two to three years experience in Mortgage Operations/Mortgage Industry required.
Experience in Underwriting, Funding a must.
Experience training and or facilitating preferred
Supervisory experience preferred

Strong PC skills and desk top publishing, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio
Audio-visual equipment
