Area Human Resources Manager

This is a great opportunity to use employee relations and recruiting skills to positively impact the bottom line as a business partner!  This position provides HR leadership to our Houston, San Antonio and Austin, TX branches with the position based in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:
? Develop and execute recruitment strategies to pro actively source and recruit.
? Manage the culture and positively affect employee retention.
? Manage employee relations programs.
? Manage and implement training initiatives.
? Develop and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources or related discipline and PHR/SPHR Cert. preferred.
? Minimum 5 years as an HR Generalist and supervisory experience.
? Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
? Significant recruiting, employee relations and training experience.
? Periodic overnight travel is required.
? Must have very good PC skills including MS Office products and automated time tracking systems.
