Area Human Resources Manager (New York City and Long Island Markets)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall management and coordination of the human resources function for clubs in the New York City and Long Island Markets.  This includes training and staffing support for clubs, conflict resolution, maintaining Team Member relations, obtaining and reviewing market data to assist in building effective wage plans and ensuring compliance with State and Federal laws along with Company policies.  Maintain close oversight of club personnel function and coordinate selection and development of Personnel Managers.  Will perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5-8 years of multi-unit Human Resources Generalist experience in a retail or supermarket environment is required.  Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently are also essential.  A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resource Management or a related field is preferred.
