Assistant Compensation Administrator

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated compensation or financial professional who is looking to grow and develop in the HR compensation area. Position will be responsible for performing administrative and analytical duties in support of the company compensation policies and programs. Position is also responsible for administering the Catch A Rising Star employee recognition program. 

 

Main Accountabilities
Assist with the research and analysis of position market data.
Assist Compensation Department members on a variety of projects including program design, salary surveys, year end salary planning process, etc.
Maintain and update logs, files, surveys, policies and procedures.
Create and run queries and reports from HRIS database as needed.
Administer Catch A Rising Star SunAward Quarterly Program. Maintain timeline, work with committee heads on nominations, prepare congratulatory memos, certificates, coordinate write-ups with PR for script, ensure all materials are accurate, maintain inventory of materials (letterhead, plaques, frames).
Provide backup support in processing AMEX checks for the daily Star Award program.
Act as a resource to other compensation staff.
Perform other duties as required.


Degree in Business, HR or related field with 2 - 4 years of related experience, or equivalent.
Must be proficient in mathematics.
Requires good MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Database management reporting/query skills, preferably in PeopleSoft, preferred.
