Assistant Human Resources Manager

Research Foundation seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager.

 

This is a position reporting to the Human Resources Manager and the Executive Director. Assists with managing the Foundation?s recruitment, employment, and benefits programs and activities.

 

Bachelors degree in business, human resources or related field, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities is acquired.

 

This position will grow to be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Human Resources Office and will act for the Human Resources Manager in her/his absence.

 

This position requires a broad range of knowledge/skills and the exercise of considerable judgment and initiative. Performs a broad spectrum of duties for the Human Resources Office. Responsibilities are varied and require a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, independent judgment, and initiative.

 

Experience working in a fast-paced human resources environment highly desired.

 

Required: Strong working knowledge in two or more HR functions (employment, benefits, compensation, immigration, retirement, etc). Working knowledge of human resources management and related laws/regulations. Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills; mathematical aptitude. Must be able to work under pressure, exhibiting strong problem solving and crisis management skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Excellent computer skills. Demonstrated ability to produce and maintain accurate data and records.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks/projects concurrently and to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Must be extremely detail oriented.
