Assistant Manager of Human Resources

Local premier company looking for Assistant Human Resources Manager to perform HR Generalist duties while assisting the plant's Human Resources Manager with various aspects of the human resources field. The essential functions of this position include:
Act as an employee contact for employee relations issues, lead investigations if necessary and find resolutions.
Recruit for salary positions-including updates to job descriptions, job postings internally, initial screening of candidate, and scheduling of interviews. Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and requirements. Establish and maintain positive relationships with recruiters
Manage the hourly staffing and selection process to include screening, interviews, testing, and selection decisions.
Manage the internal job posting/bidding program to include; posting authorization, postings, eligibility, selection and transfer
Benefits Administrator for all new hires to provide the necessary knowledge of employee programs and benefits, review of handbook, company policies and procedures.
Provide benefit's support by understanding, communicating and supporting the Company's benefit philosophy, coverage, etc. to leadership and associates (FMLA, STD, life insurance.)
The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA in Human Resources Management or other related field. PHR preferred.
Experience should include 3-5 years HR management experience, including recruitment and training of hourly and salaried personnel, regulatory compliance (ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc.)
