Assistant Vice President, Human Resources (EFS)

CITY: Stamford STATE: Connecticut COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

* Serve as HRM for one or more key functional staff or business client groups (Operations, Finance, Portfolio Mgmt, etc.). Employees are located largely in North America, with a growing presence in Europe and Asia.
- Partner with assigned functional leaders to set both long term and short term organization strategy, drive business vision, and implement strategic HR initiatives.
- Lead and facilitate change efforts.
- Lead Session C, salary planning, incentive compensation planning and stock option processes for assigned client groups.
- Provide proactive and professional staffing, management coaching, organizational development, training, employee relations, performance management and communications for assigned client groups.
* Serve as the program manager and HRM for the following key talent development programs. Responsibilities include management of all strategic and tactical issues.
- Associates/Summer Associates Program (including all program design, recruiting, compensation management, assignments, training, and employee engagement/retention matters).
- Analysts Program - responsibilities as defined above
* Serve as the process owner for assigned key HR processes/initiatives including employee training and development along with proactive communication of myLearning/CF/GE offerings, EFS Performance Evaluation Surveys, GEOC, on-boarding process improvements including management of New Hire Orientation sessions and materials, employee data privacy training/metrics, diversity initiatives/metrics, e360s, internet/intranet HR applications etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS/BA degree
* 3+ years HR experience/5+ years business experience
* Strong business acumen
* Leadership experience with proven ability to energize/influence others
* Demonstrated ability to drive change, resolve conflict and facilitate teams
* Green Belt certified
* Strong coaching, counseling and assessment skills

Desired:
* HRLP graduate
* Corporate finance/fin'l services experience
* MBA
* Black Belt
* Strong MS Office Suite skills
* Oracle HR experience

General:
This unique position combines both HR generalist and program management/process ownership responsibilities. The incumbent serves as a key member of the EFS HR team with frequent interaction with employees and sr. management from across the business.
