Background Checking Analyst

Description:
This role will be responsible for supporting the design and administration of the background checking program including interpretation; application and issue resolution; providing project management; practice wide consulting, measurement and metrics regarding background checking statistical information tracking. Also to include gathering requirements, process definition and design and documentation of process to successfully transition work to an ongoing defined delivery state.
Responsible for ensuring consistency of application and interpretation of multiple configurations of background checking policy.

Specific responsibilities are:
Ensuring SLA targets are being met by vendor
Tracking and measuring data around background checking program administration and vendor SLA s
Participating in and/ or facilitating policy and escalation team meetings
Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives.
Leading well-defined projects or sub-projects based on firmwide onboarding/hiring priorities as it relates to background checking.
Actively participating in scoping and producing project deliverables.
Participating in the design, development and implementation of communication tools to assist managers and HR in educating associates on background checking.
Analyzing and tracking trends and ensuring vendor is meeting SLA s
Data analysis

Deliverables:
Successful achievement of SLA targets and accountabilities
Successful resolution of Background Checking issues which require interpretive consulting skills and sound judgment

Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to facilitate meetings
Ability to mediate associate relations situations
Ability to write presentations and business cases
Working knowledge of employment law and current HR trends

Knowledge Base Required:
Strong business knowledge
Strong knowledge of consulting skills and processes
Strong knowledge of associate relations
