Benefit Analyst Senior

Job Purpose:

Attracts and retains employees by researching, recommending, and explaining benefit programs.

 

Duties:

 Determines employee benefit interests by conducting employee surveys; analyzing responses.

 Recommends employee benefit programs by examining, evaluating, and optimizing employee understanding, acceptance, and interest, costs, regulatory requirements, and competitive advantages.

 Advises employees about the provisions of benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurance, vacation, sick leave, wellness, leave of absence, and employee assistance plans. 

 Explains employee benefits by conducting meetings;preparing written and graphic announcements and explainations;responding to requests.

 Plan and administer all employee wellness programs;tracking of wellness contracts, and employee rebates.

 Determines employee benefit practices by benchmarking best practices;researching industry and employment trends.  Analyzes results of comparison and surveys and develops recommendations for review by management.
