Background Information:

 

Our client, an independent, third party administrator of benefit programs, has engaged us to help them find a Benefits Administration Supervisor to fill a current opening which will be located at their headquarters offices in Rochester, New York.  

The position is currently vacant and they are looking to move quickly.  


The Benefits Administration Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager and has direct accountability for 8 direct reports, which include 6 processors and 2 customer service representatives.

Additional responsibilities include: Recruiting, hiring, training and evaluating team membersEnsuring accurate administration of benefit plansProvide effective support for clients regarding daily plan administrationMaintain updated knowledge of IRS regulations governing related plansEnsure security and confidentiality for all departmental functions

 

 

Qualifications & Background

We are seeking an individual with at least 4 years of experience in benefits administration, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.  Ability to foster a sense of teamwork and desire to work within a fast-paced, challenging environment. BA/BS Degree and intermediate to advanced level knowledge of MS Word/Excel also required.  Experience with database report writing helpful.
