Benefits Assistant / File Clerk

Rainbow USA inc. is a 1000 store chain based in Brooklyn, NY.  We are currently undergoing expansion and have created the position of Benefits Assistant / File Clerk to help manage the increased workload. 

 

Our dynamic & energetic HR Benefits Dept seeks a Benefits Assistant capable of handling confidential information & communication and to perform data entry, take benefits questions & concern calls, & do filing & report writing with other duties as assigned as needed. Candidates will have data entry exp, MS Word, Excel & Lotus Notes exp & will have great personal interaction skills. Candidates must also have a HS Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.

 

Job Summary:

 

The Benefits Assistant / File Clerk will be responsible for supporting the Benefits department.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 ?  Filing in all HR/Benefit areasTake phone calls for benefit issues and work with Benefits Supervisor to ensure all employees are taken care of.Input benefit deductions for all new hiresSend out weekly benefit packages for new management, promotionsType and send out reject lettersTo send out Federal and State posters to all stores in need and to make sure new stores receive the complete Poster packetComplete the HR Employee filesAssist all areas of department with filing, photocopying, clerical support as needed

*Strong computer skills including Word and Excel

*Strong verbal and written skills

* Bilingual Spanish / English is a plus
