Benefits Coordinator/Human Resources Specialist/Payroll Processor

The North Broward Hospital District is Broward County's largest healthcare services provider and is one of the nation's top public health systems. We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team.


The North Broward Hospital District has the following open positions in our Benefits, Human Resources, and Payroll Departments.

All positions are Full time - Monday - Friday.

Benefits Coordinator-
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience. Requires computer and HRIS skills. Requires knowledge of COBRA, FMLA, Flex Spending, IRS regulations, etc. Coordinates employee benefits programs including processing of employee benefit transactions, approving vendor payments, surveying benefit programs, conducting studies of emerging benefit practices and counseling employees/management regarding benefits. Assists in the design and cost analysis of new and/or revised program.

Human Resources Specialist-
Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of HR experience. Requires broad based HR knowledge and expertise, strong consulting skills, deep understanding of HR processes and programs, collaboration/partnership skills and attention to detail. Under minimal supervision, assists management in evaluating Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. Employee Relations and Recruitment experience a plus. Healthcare experience preferred.

Payroll Processor-
High School graduate or equivalent. One year of related experience. Excellent customer service skills.
