Benefits Financial Analyst

The Benefits Financial will consolidate and analyze budget, forecast, and actual results for all company benefit plans covering US and non-US employees.  Benefit programs include pension, savings and health & welfare plans. Duties and responsibilities include:

?Prepare and analyze financial forecasts and actual results.  

?Financial consolidation for multi-plan environment

?Create and maintain financial reports for management.

?Reconcile general ledger accounts to budget

?Reconcile and audit benefit claims with reports from carriers

?Maintain budgets

?Process claims payments to carriers

?Part of the HR team for implementing benefit changes

?Support management in developing and preparing various financial reports. 

?Provide analysis to explain variances. 

?Assist HR management in various projects.

?Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

 

Due to the scope of this position it is essential that applicants have knowledge, skill, experience and education in the following areas:

?  BS or BA degree in Accounting or Finance or Business with a finance/accounting concentration

?  3-5 years of accounting experience

?  Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint); SQL query tools

?  Knowledge of Infinium HRIS a plus

?  Benefits and/or payroll experience
