For over 40 years our staff has offered advertisers and agencies integrated solutions to their unique requirements.
Talent Partners is seeking a Benefits & Payroll Specialist responsible for the administration of the company's payroll and benefits plans. Our company's benefit plans include medical, dental, vision, (un)paid leave, life/AD&D insurance, long and short-term disability, FSA, TransitCheck, EAP, tuition reimbursement, defined contribution and profit sharing plan. This individual will serve as the primary contact for all employees and vendors in order to ensure and maintain the proper administration of all benefits, billing, claims, and payroll related issues.
Key responsibilities: Payroll administration Process and verify accuracy of bi-monthly payroll Maintenance of employee payroll records including salary information, address, tax withholdings and benefit contributions Oversee the accuracy and timely distribution of year-end employee tax reporting information H&W benefits administration: notify insurance carriers of participant enrollment, changes and terminations Preparation of monthly premium payments and reporting requirements Respond to employee inquiries concerning plan benefits Maintain and distribute benefit plan materials and communications Defined Contribution & Profit Sharing: communication to staff regarding plan eligibility, provisions and changes Notification to vendor regarding participant enrollment, changes, and termination Respond to employee inquiries and oversee plan distributions and/or withdrawals Assist in annual data collection for discrimination testing, reporting, and employer contribution requirements Oversee administration and tracking of leave programs including short and long-term disability, FMLA, and other paid leave benefits Distribution of COBRA notification letters, recordkeeping, and tracking of COBRA premium contributions Process and research workers compensation claims for staff and performer on-site production incidents and maintain OSHA information accordingly Verify benefit plans are in compliance with federal and state laws and oversee annual benefit communications and reporting requirements Make recommendations to improve benefits processes and procedures Assist in the continued development of the organization and its employees by providing support in related disciplines including other Human Resources functions, Organizational Development, and Learning & Development
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline Minimum 3 years experience in Benefits Administration Strong knowledge of benefits plans and applicable federal and state legal requirements Fluency in payroll administration with ADP Comprehension of multi-state benefits and payroll administration requirements Strong quantitative, analytic, and communication skills required Ability to work independently, be proactive, and manage multiple projects Strong computer proficiency in MS Windows, Word and Excel Working knowledge of PowerPoint
