We are currently seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional with previous administration experience and knowledge of SOX compliance.
COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities:
? Support the Compliance Manager in the People Services Department in the delivery and maintenance of internal compliance policies and programs
? Ensure that the People Services function is compliant in several key areas, including HIPAA, ERISA, Sarbanes Oxley, annual DOL filings, required employment postings, unemployment processes, records retention, affirmative action plans, EEO1 filings, etc.
? Assist field People Services employees with training and information to follow and support these processes
? Assist the Compliance Manager in developing successful and efficient processes for leave of absence processing, handbook updates, benefits and payroll workflow
Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree with an emphasis in business, human resources or a related field of study required
? At least 3 years of progressive human resources administration experience
? Knowledge of SOX compliance as it relates to benefits and compensation programs
